One of the first products I ever usability tested was a speech recognition package, back in 1989. I remember user after user having very similar experiences to this poor guy:

This reminds me of the first spell check I came accross (Samna Word IV) where “Crouton” (crunchy thing in soup) came out as “Scrotum”!!

This is hilarious! I wish I could come up with these incredibly creative ways of using the English language. Go Microsoft!!
