BSAL #6: Designing Powerful and Interactive Web Applications, an interview with David Malouf and Bill Scott (21mb, 45m)
Full transcript available here.

In this interview, my colleague Joshua Porter and I talk with David Malouf, Senior User Experience Designer at Symbol Technologies, and Bill Scott, Ajax Evangelist and Design Manager for Yahoo’s recently released Design Pattern Library. We discuss Rich Internet Application development, Ajax, and other important issues surrounding the creation of sophisticated web apps.

David and Bill will be teaching their one-day workshop, Designing Powerful Web Applications with AJAX and RIAs at the upcoming UIE Web App Summit in Monterey, CA in January. Their workshop was a big hit at the UI11 conference and I’m expecting it will sell out at the Summit.

I click on the Full Transcript link. The page contains no intuitive way to read the entire article; it ends and there’s no “next” or anything. Where’s the rest of the transcript??

    Guys,

Great podcast. I am in the process of launching a little project of mine and I need to start adding podcast episodes. I submitted your xml feed but this episode seems to have disappeared from the xml. Any reason for this?

Thanks, btw, for turning me on to YUI. I’m new to Ajax and this is a great resource. I’ll be listening to future episodes!

    Cheers,

    Chris
