What I like most along with the visual redesign is the feature enhancements. They have redefined the word interface and interaction with this new design.

One example is the calendar/timeline feature/control to pick a date range. You can view it by clicking on the day range on the top right corner of any report/dashboard page.

I love the new Google Analytics design - it is much easier to find features that were already there that I didn't know existed.

As both a personal and business user of Google Analytics I'm very impressed with the user interface redesign and information architecture that has been used in this new version.

I have posted comments on my blog on the vast user interface improvements, and ironically have also linked to Avinash Kaushik's in depth discussion which offers excellent information on the new interface along with key features.

By providing access to such significant amounts of visitor behaviour and site usage data, the user interface and architecture becomes even more critical to the softwares success, and by using leading UI designers across the world Google have certainly exceled in these areas.

The redesign is fantastic! It's leaps and bounds better than the old one.

It's nice to see Google put good designers to work on one of their products. Now they just need to let this team rework all their other applications.
