Hotel Accommodations
User Interface 10 will be at the Boston Marriott Cambridge Hotel in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The official conference hotel address is: 2 Cambridge Center, Cambridge, MA 02142.
If you are planning to stay at the conference hotel, you'll want to reserve your room right away. Because of the overwhelming attendee numbers for UI10, we've filled our reserved discounted rooms. However, you can still reserve a room for $299 per night (not including tax). To reserve you room, you can call (877) 901-2080 or visit the hotel web site.
Other nearby hotels where you can stay:
- The
Residence Inn Boston Cambridge Center: We've reserved a limited
number of rooms at the Residence Inn Boston Cambridge Center at a discounted
rate of $219 per night for October 9-13. Use promotion code UIF
to get the special rate.
The Residence Inn is directly across the street from the conference hotel and the rooms have sitting rooms and kitchens. The hotel also offers complimentary breakfast each day. It's a great alternative to the conference hotel.
- The Kendall Hotel:
Directly across the street from the conference hotel, the Kendall Hotel
is Cambridge's only historic boutique hotel. You can reserve a
room for $229 per night (not including tax).
- The Royal Sonesta Hotel Boston: The Royal Sonesta is located just one mile from the official conference hotel. Directly adjacent to the hotel, you can take a 15-minute shuttle from the Cambridge Galleria Mall to the conference. You can reserve a room for $289 per night (not including tax).
Ground Transportation
If you're flying, you'll be arriving at Boston's Logan Airport. Options for transportation between the airport and the Boston Marriott Cambridge Hotel:
- Taxis are plentiful at Logan airport, but fares can cost in the $20-$25 range.
- Public transportation from the airport is significantly cheaper than the taxi or shuttle but is only for the adventurous, as it involves taking a bus from the airport terminal to the Blue line subway, then changing trains twice to get to the Kendall/MIT stop on the Red line.
Once at the Boston Marriott Cambridge Hotel, the Kendall Square T stop is right at the hotel, making it easy to get around the city. Parking in Boston is scarce and expensive, so renting a car is not recommended.
Parking
For those driving to the conference, there is parking available at the
hotel. You will be responsible for these charges; we do not validate parking.
The Marriott parking garage is $20 per day. The lot across the street
is $18 per day.
