Ground Transportation
If you're flying, you'll be arriving at Boston's Logan Airport. Options for transportation between the airport and the Boston Marriott Cambridge Hotel:
- Taxis are plentiful at Logan airport, but fares can cost in the $30-$35 range. During non-rush hour, a taxi ride takes 15 minutes. During rush hour, the ride will take approximately 30 minutes.
- Public transportation from the airport is significantly cheaper than the taxi or shuttle but it is only for the adventurous. You will have to take the silver line train from the airport terminal to the South Station subway, and then take the Red line to the Kendall/MIT stop.
Once at the Boston Marriott Cambridge Hotel, the Kendall Square T stop is right at the hotel, making it easy to get around the city. Parking in Boston is scarce and expensive, so renting a car is not recommended.
Parking
For those driving to the conference, there is valet parking available at the hotel. You will be responsible for these charges; we do not validate parking. The Marriott parking garage is $28 per day. Also, there is a self parking garage near the Marriott that costs $22.00 per day.
