Important Information You Should Know

  • Are there group discounts?

    Groups of 3 or more receive $75 off per day until October 30.

  • What if I have to cancel? Can I
    substitute someone else?

    Cancel? Oh, my. That would be awful. We were so counting on seeing you there.

    Well, things happen. It’s a bummer, but we understand unforeseen situations. You have a few options.

    Send someone in your place: You can substitute a colleague until October 31 with no charges or penalties. Just send the person’s name and contact information to events@uie.com. (They have to replace you for the entire registration. Sorry, but you can’t split the registration among people.)

    Attend a future UIE event: You can apply your UI17 payment towards any future live event or virtual seminar that UIE produces. Just email us at events@uie.com and we’ll work with you to make it all perfect.

    Get a refund: If you let us know you need to cancel within 48 hours of registering, we’ll refund you 100% of the amount you paid. After that first 48 hours and until October 19, there is a $250 cancellation fee. After October 19, we can’t give you a refund, but you can use the funds towards another UIE event. Email us at events@uie.com as soon as you know you need to cancel.

  • What’s this about a
    “100% Satisfaction Guarantee”?

    That’s right. We guarantee you’ll be 100% satisfied with the UI17 Conference, just like we do for all our work and events at User Interface Engineering.

    If you’re not completely satisfied for any reason, we’ll refund your entire registration fee. It’s been a long time since we’ve had to do that for anyone and we’re confident you’ll love the conference, but it’s good to know you’ve got our promise of awesomeness.
