UIE Virtual Seminars are live presentations delivered over the Web. You view the presentation slides in a web browser and listen to the audio over a normal phone line.
All you need to "attend" a UIE Virtual Seminar is a broadband internet connection, a web browser equipped with Macromedia Flash (version 6 or newer), and a telephone. You'll use the web browser to view the slides and the phone to listen to the presenter. Together, you get a full-fledged experience of attending a presentation, without ever leaving the comfort of your office.
Remember, each registration pays for a single computer connection and a single phone connection. Feel free to gather as many folks around that computer as you like (the more the merrier).
If you need more than one connection (whether in the same facility or different locations), you can purchase additional connections.
We recommend going through the following steps 10 minutes before the start of the seminar, so if any technical issues crop up we'll can fix them before start time.
To attend a virtual seminar, you first open the virtual seminar URL in a web browser. This URL is sent to you in your seminar registration confirmation email.
You'll see a screen that looks like this:

Simply enter your name and email so that we know you're there. Then, click Login and the presentation will load in a separate window (you may have to disable popups). If the presentation hasn't started yet, you'll see a welcome screen looking something like this: (The slides rotate every few seconds.)

If the presentation has started you'll see a slide from the live presentation.
If you have any problems connecting to the URL, call support at: 303-952-4487.
After you bring up the presentation in your browser, you can hear the audio by calling in to the special seminar phone number. You'll have to enter a passcode to join the call. Like the virtual seminar URL, the phone number and passcode are sent to you in your seminar registration confirmation email. If you haven't received your passcode, please call us at (800) 588-9855 (within U.S. and Canada) or (978) 327-5561.
If the presentation hasn't started yet, you may not hear anything first. Don't panic, just stay on the line. You'll hear something shortly.
If you have problems connecting to the phone line: Call technical support at 800-983-3180 (U.S. attendees) or 858-812-3196 (outside the U.S.).
As we give the presentation, you'll see the slides and follow along easily. You will hear us through your phone, but your voice won't be heard by others. However, you can ask questions during the seminar by typing them into the integrated chat window in the presentation player. We'll be stopping at various points during the presentation to answer the questions.
If you have any general questions about the UIE Virtual Seminars, please feel free to call us at: (800) 588-9855 (within U.S. and Canada) or 978 327-5561. If you have any technical questions during the seminar, then call the appropriate number:
Problems connecting to the web presentation (at seminar time): (303) 952-4487.
Problems connection to the phone (at seminar time): (800) 983-3180.
