The Best Western Suites Hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Summit hotel. Room rates start at $175, with a 10% discount available to AAA or AARP members.

The Glorietta Bay Inn, a boutique hotel, is located one mile from the Coronado Marriott. Room rates start at $205 per night.
About Coronado
Coronado is a small "island" town off the coast of California. Coronado neighbors Naval Base Coronado, home to two aircraft carriers and the elite Navy SEALS. Coronado boasts the second best beach in the country, as ranked by the Travel Channel, and is the perfect setting for shopping, dining, and outdoor activities.
The Coronado area contains a multitude of attractions including: the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Petco Park, House of Blues, and the famous Gaslamp Quarter.
Ground Transportation
If you're flying, you'll be arriving at San Diego International Airport. Options for transportation between the airport and the Coronado Island Marriott Resort:
- Taxi fares from the airport to the hotel cost approximately $20 - $25.
- The hotel is a 7-mile car ride from the airport. You can access driving directions here.
- The Coronado Island Marriott Resort also operates a water taxi that departs from the San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina at 333 West Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101. The water taxi arrives at the Coronado Island Marriott Resort dock at 1011 Orange Avenue, Coronado, CA 92118.
Parking
For those driving to the conference, there is ample residential parking surrounding the hotel. On-site parking at the hotel is $18 per day while valet parking is $23 per day. Unfortunately, we do not validate parking, so you will be responsible for these charges.
